Ben has three decades of experience leading marketing teams serving early-stage and high growth companies. Ben also has academic experience with scientific research, laboratory experience in neuroscience, and comfort at the interface of “science and society.” The team sometimes focuses on projects involving Science and STEM Education.
As for specific projects/clients, Ben served as the first Marketing lead for New York City’s World Science Festival, founded in 2008 and now an annual event; also for BMP Sunstone, a US firm distributing pharmaceuticals into the Chinese marketplace, where Ben and his team built the brand, website, and investor materials, and brought the company public on the NASDAQ. The company was sold to Sanofi-Aventis for $520 million in 2010; also for Space Racers, an animated preschool television show focused on Space and STEM Education, now in 25 languages and more than 135 nations. Ben worked on marketing and communications and digital media for the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, one of the nation’s largest funders of scientific research. Ben launched web media and social media for Sloan’s Public Understanding of Science and Technology Program, which supports Film, Books, Theater, Radio, and Web Media dedicated to science education.
Ben has also supported the Alumni Association of the Bronx High School of Science; the College of Physicians of Philadelphia; the Mütter Museum; and the New York City Department of Education.
A New York City native, Ben attended Stanford University, where he earned a BS in Chemistry with honors and a BA in Public Policy.

Jessie has more than twenty years of experience as a graphic designer and has been on the BA&A Team since 2006. She has created brand identities and collateral assets for businesses small and large. She is uniquely able to cross over from “digital” to “freehand” design, and has rendered beautiful brand identities as websites, web media, paper products, and everything from books to CD packaging to clothing, greeting cards, and more.
Charles has more than fifteen years of experience as an engineer, software developer, and graphic designer and has been on the BA&A Team since 2004. Charles has delivered a wide variety of solutions for clients including e-Commerce builds, integration with CRMs, integration with marketing automation systems and marketing campaigns, custom hosting solutions, custom HTML, WordPress, and PHP builds. He has lived and worked in Mexico, South Korea, Canada, and Bermuda, and is fluent with international efforts. With a background in contemporary art and a knack for problem-solving, Charles is comfortable designing products and systems from the ground up and implementing web-based solutions across a broad array of technologies.
Barbara brings her substantial experience in project management, including website builds, company repositionings, and new product launches. Before heading up B2B and consumer marketing teams in the media industry, including The History Channel, Reader’s Digest, and Space.com, she held account management positions at several top advertising agencies on accounts ranging from Citibank credit cards to Aer Lingus to Teen Spirit Haircare. Earlier in her career, she worked as a copy editor, proofreader, and copywriter. She has an MBA in Marketing from New York University and a BA in Sociology from University of California, Santa Barbara.
Gina is a seasoned public relations professional with over a decade of experience providing both strategic counsel and media results to clients across several sectors including entertainment, non-profit, sports, and media. She is one of the more recent members of the BA&A Team, on staff since 2015.
Skilled at large-scale event management, social media strategy, and influencer marketing, she spent much of her career as an Associate Vice President at Rubenstein Communications Inc. Past and current clients include WSJ Magazine, Cirque du Soleil’s touring shows, PGA’s 2018 Ryder Cup Trophy Tour, The Epilepsy Foundation, The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation’s Public Understanding of Science group; and NBCUniversal’s Space Racers.
